Beginner Yoga
Whether you are just starting yoga, or looking to fill in some of the gaps in your personal yoga practice, this is the class for you. We work on learning individual poses, breath work and putting them together to create a flow. I am always excited to teach this class, because I believe you will learn the basic poses that will allow you to advance your personal practice in a safe, methodical way.
Aerial Yoga
This 60 minute class will include a well rounded class where we incorporate flowing poses, static poses and optional flips and tricks throughout the practice. We will work on finding balance, as well as stretching and strenghtening our muscles with the support of the hammock.
Yoga Flow
In this class, we continue to grow our practice, learning new poses, and integrating them into a flow. We work on transitioning between poses in a safe, mindful way. improving our balance, flexibility and strength.
Aerial Yoga Workshop
No experience necessary! This 90 minute workshop will be a well-rounded class that includes 60 minutes of stretching and strengthening, with flips and tricks optional. We will end by lowering the hammocks, and enjoying 30 minutes of restorative aerial yoga.
4 Week Aerial Yoga for Kids
This class is for ages 7 to 12. In this series of classes, kids learn mindfulness, increase their strength and flexibility, and enjoy the fun of flight, as well as the soothing sensation of the fabric.
Power Yoga
Power Yoga is a moderately paced vinyasa style class with both static holds and flowing movements. This class will build core strength, increase your stability and make you sweat a little. Power Yoga is a good choice for those who want a more active class. Some yoga experience recommended.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a special way to relax and soothe frayed nerves. Restorative classes use, bolsters, blankets, and blocks to prop students into passive poses so the body can experience the benefits of a pose without having to exert any effort. The practice also helps to relieve chronic stress, by providing an environment for total relaxation.
4 Week Intro to SUP Yoga
This 4 week Stand Up Paddle-board Yoga Class is designed with the beginner in mind. No experience is necessary. We start by getting comfortable with seated poses, then move to kneeling poses. As we become more comfortable on our boards, we transition to standing poses and learn how to flow between poses. Modifications are given as needed. Like on the yoga mat, everyone learns at their own pace, not rushing the process.
4 Week Intro to Aerial Yoga
In this 4 week series, participants will learn the basics of the aerial hammock, inversions, and basic tricks. It is designed for people with little or no aerial experience. These classes include stretching, strengthening, and balancing postures.
